At the end of May, we packed our backpacks (and rain jackets) and headed off to Amenity Resort Deštná for our biggest teambuilding yet – 50 of us, four days, one mountain, zero boredom.

Hiking (Rain? Bring it on!)
We kicked things off with a hike to a lookout tower. The weather? Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly sunshine and rainbows, more like drizzle and determined spirits. But did that stop us? Nope! We embraced the rain, laughed through the mud, and made memories (plus some soggy socks). After conquering the trail, we rewarded ourselves with some well-deserved wellness time.

The “Short” Workshop That Went Long
In the afternoon, we gathered for what was originally meant to be a short and sweet AI workshop. Well… two hours later, we were still deep in discussion. Turns out, when you bring a bunch of curious minds together, things tend to get lively. We explored how to make our work at itrinity even smarter, faster, and more effective. And judging by the energy in the room, we could’ve gone on for another two hours easily.

E-Biking Through the Mountains
The next day came with another challenge, this time on two wheels. We took e-bikes up into the hills and tackled about 23 kilometers of proper mountain terrain. Sweaty, muddy, a little out of breath, but totally worth it. At the top, we rolled into Masarykova bouda ready for food… and realized it was a cash-only place. Luckily, we had a hero among us (thanks, Honza), who just happened to have a wallet full of cash (seriously, how often does that happen?). Crisis averted, spirits high!

Evenings That Hit All the Right Notes
After full days of activity, our evenings were all about winding down – bowling strikes, wellness chills, wine tasting. The guitar came out, the singing started (some of it on-key, some… well, enthusiastic), and friendships grew even stronger.
Somewhere between the rain hike, the uphill bike ride, and the never-ending AI debate, something great happened: we connected. Across teams, across products, across different corners of itrinity. And that’s exactly what these few days were about.

Thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable trip and if you missed this one, don’t worry. We can’t wait to do it all again at the next one.
