Who Are We Looking For?

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS or a high-growth tech environment, with real ownership of features or product areas.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS growth metrics MRR, LTV, churn, retention, activation – and how to influence them through product.
  • Experience leading the entire product lifecycle – from discovery to delivery to iteration
  • Skilled at writing clear specs and shaping UX flows using tools like Notion, Figma, and Miro
  • MVP and impact-driven mindset – able to prioritize ruthlessly, work lean, and ship fast.
  • Data-savvy – you’re comfortable with experimentation, A/B testing, user interviews, and usage metrics.
  • Empathy for technical users — especially DevOps, engineers, and sysadmins
  • Fluent in English – the whole team is international – clarity in async and real-time communication is key.
  • Self-management & proactivity in a remote environment – comfortable working independently and thriving without micromanagement

Nice-to-Have

  • Background in engineering or experience with JS, PHP, or Python.
  • Experience working closely with technical founders or small, fast-paced teams.
  • Bonus if you’ve launched your own product or side project.

What you’ll do

You’ll work directly with our Head of Product to define and drive the UptimeRobot roadmap. This is a hands-on role with real influence – you’ll ship features that impact millions and help evolve one of the most trusted monitoring platforms in the world.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs.
  • Define product specs and UX flows using tools like Notion, Figma, and Miro — with clarity and dev-ready detail.
  • Lead feature development from discovery to release — collaborating closely with our design, backend, and frontend teams.
  • Shape pricing, onboarding, and checkout flows with a focus on conversion and retention.
  • Dig into user feedback, analytics, and incident patterns to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate feature requests and triage bugs, ensuring what we build creates real value.
  • Stay plugged into monitoring, DevOps, and SaaS trends, applying what makes sense to keep UptimeRobot ahead of the curve.
  • Bring bold, opinionated ideas to the table — and know how to validate them fast.

Your mission

Your mission is to make UptimeRobot even more essential to the developers and DevOps teams who rely on it. That means improving usability, expanding functionality, and driving product-led growth — all while keeping things fast, simple, and reliable.

You’ll work directly with our Head of Product to shape strategy, define what success looks like, and ship improvements that scale with our user base.

You’ll care deeply about two outcomes:

  1. Increasing product value for our users — measured through adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
  2. Driving sustainable growth — by improving activation, reducing churn, and identifying new opportunities to expand our footprint.

Why this will challenge you

This role comes with real ownership — and with that, real complexity. UptimeRobot serves millions of users, from indie hackers to global tech teams. Priorities will shift. You’ll need to say no often. And you’ll have to balance usability, performance, and technical feasibility — fast.

But if you thrive on responsibility and love shipping work that matters, you’ll feel right at home here.

You’ll get to:

  • Shape a product with a huge surface area and global reach ✅
  • Work directly with experienced developers, designers, and marketers ✅
  • Help lead a fast-growing product that still runs lean and agile ✅

Challenges & joys

As we (founders) are also engineers at heart, we kind of know that there are just a few main sources of joy and coolness for a job like this.
  1. Dope, bleeding edge tech ✅
  2. Cool, sexy and popular products used by millions of users ✅
  3. Solving real hard problems ✅
  4. Highly skilled and driven colleagues ready to help ✅
We honestly think we check all these boxes. To get a better picture, here are some numbers if you want to geek out 🙂

Responsibilities (what will be your duties?)

We are an engineer-focused company and we believe you as a fellow engineer would also appreciate a more comprehensive description of our expectations and a little glimpse into your daily routine.
  • End-to-End Ownership:
    • take full responsibility for the entire lifecycle of feature development, from gathering requirements and writing clean, maintainable code to deploying, monitoring, and ensuring long-term reliability
    • e.g., delivering a user authentication system with logging, monitoring, and detailed documentation, while continuously improving its performance and usability.
  • Assist colleagues with on-demand tasks:
    • fulfill requests from developers
    • answer questions from support teams
  • Cooperate with other Developers to achieve your mission

Life at itrinity

At itrinity, we’re all about building a warm and welcoming community where everyone brings their unique spark to the table.

From day one, we make it a priority to ensure everyone – whether you’re working from home or in the office – feels like you belong here.

Our remote culture is something we’re proud of, as it allows us to work effectively while enjoying the freedom of location! But there’s nothing quite like meeting in person, of course – that’s why we are doing team building activities and our annual itrinity-retreat, where we can connect and have fun together.

Our all-hands meetings are a chance for everyone to share ideas, celebrate wins, and stay in the loop on exciting projects across the company.

Company culture

We believe that a positive workplace support creativity and collaboration, allowing us to thrive as a team. Join us in shaping a culture that embraces diversity, celebrates individuality, and encourages growth every step of the way!

We want to build highly-profitable products with clear value for our customers.

We prioritize understanding and meeting our users’ needs, with their satisfaction at the core of our product decisions. Long-term growth is the natural result of listening to, evolving alongside our customers and solving their problems.

We operate multiple products, but we function as one team with shared goals and attitude. We believe in sharing know-how, ideas, and supporting each other. Honest, direct, and open communication is strongly encouraged among all members of the company.

We give freedom in decisions, but we expect responsibility and accountability.

We know resource constraints are inevitable but they often lead to innovative and smart solutions. We focus on achieving 80% of value with 20% of effort & costs. We care about outcomes not measuring outputs.

We offer above market compensation to everyone who shows the ability to rapidly and consistently deliver results and improve our chances of business success. We also have very attractive ESOP (stock ownership program) available.

We want to fail fast, because we will learn something. If we fail slowly, we lose much more time and resources. If we find something is working, we scale it fast as well to see the potential.

From work-life balance, to avoiding extremes in everything we do. We believe that the golden middle-ground is in most cases the most sustainable and successful long term approach.
