Forbes SK, “Horses Over Unicorns” Interview with Martin Toma on Slovakia’s Quiet Software Empire

We’re excited that Forbes Slovakia recently featured our story and sat down with our co-founder Martin Toma for an interview. But it wasn’t just about numbers.

👉 How it started
Martin and Peter first connected through KWFinder, a small SEO tool that grew into a globally used product. From that beginning, they built itrinity, which today runs eight SaaS products and serves millions of users worldwide.

👉 What makes us different
From the start, our goal was never to chase unicorn status. As Martin puts it: “We didn’t want a unicorn, we wanted a reliable racehorse. Something that lasts for decades.” That mindset is why we’ve grown sustainably, without outside investors or loans, relying instead on our own profits and a long-term vision.

👉 Where we are now
With products like UptimeRobot – trusted by brands such as Adidas, IBM, and MasterCard – itrinity has become a global player while keeping its garage-style spirit: lean, remote-first, and passionate about product.

💡 Curious about our acquisition strategy, how we use AI to scout opportunities, and why our culture avoids middle management?
